The MetroCount Vehicle Classifier System combines state-of-the-art traffic logging hardware with powerful, yet easy-to-use software. MetroCount provides you with a total solution to all your traffic monitoring issues, from routine statistics through to the most complex traffic management problems.

The MetroCount 5600’s all-new, sophisticated, modular design, with advanced firmware provides extremely high reliability, serviceability and ultra-long battery life. Now with a user-replaceable alkaline battery pack and advanced power-saving features, you can survey continuously for 290 days without replacing the batteries (even longer for less frequent use). The Roadside Unit’s firmware is designed to prevent premature flat batteries: it automatically powers down when the survey is finished, if the memory is full or if no data is logged for more than a week.

The Metrocount 5600 is available in 3 signature types. Base, Regular and Plus. The differences between each of these can be viewed in the Metrocount Signature Brochure (see downloads below). TCS strongly suggests studying this brochure to determine which signature types suits your application best.
